#R19ChangeTheRatio - Women Empowering Women
Philadelphia, PA- Building on their success this cross country season Lions teammates Tianna Jeffcoat and Aleah Langley continue to grow a special bond in a shared goal. The sophomore sprinters support each other in their journey towards graduation and transfer. Both are Psychology majors who have chosen to take their talents to Bowie State University in Maryland upon earning their degrees at CCP. They have built a sisterhood throughout their time together on the cross country and track & field teams. The Back to Back EPAC Cross Country Champions push each other in the classroom and in training every day to realize their full potential. Tianna and Aleah are joined at the hip as they move through campus from class to their joint work study positions in the Athletic Center to their weight room sessions to study hall and to practice. After earning the Conference title this fall, their indoor season is setting up what should be a rewarding outdoor campaign. Both have already qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National Championship with their times in the 400m dash thus far. When you think of women empowering women they both exude exactly that and represent themselves, their team and the Athletics department in the highest regard. There is no doubt that their relationship will continue to grow and inspire other women to work hard and become successful in their own right.
